Droma (formerly Grokstream) has been shortlisted in three categories at the 2026 A.I. Awards — Most Innovative AI Technology, Most Advanced AI Environment, and Best Use of AI in Energy, Utilities, or Telecoms.
We’re proud of the recognition. But what interests us more is what the three categories reveal when viewed together. They move from innovation itself, to the environment required to make advanced AI work at scale, to the real-world impact AI can have in some of the most complex and operationally demanding industries.
That progression mirrors a shift we believe is happening across enterprise AI. The question is no longer simply what an AI model can generate or what an AI assistant can help a person do. The more consequential question is whether AI can become a trusted participant in the operating model itself — able to understand context, reason across complexity, act within defined boundaries, and learn from every outcome.
That is the direction we have been building Droma toward.
From AI Assistants to an Agentic Workforce
The industry has moved quickly from chatbots to AI assistants and now to agents. But much of what is called agentic AI still centers on a single experience — ask a question, receive an answer, initiate a workflow.
Operations are not a single task.
A modern operations organization has frontline teams handling immediate incidents, problem managers eliminating systemic causes, and SRE teams thinking about reliability, architecture, capacity, and failure modes before they become incidents. Each role operates with different information, responsibilities, decision rights, and risk tolerances.
Droma reflects that reality through a role-based agentic workforce.
The L1/L2 Operator Agent can investigate and resolve operational issues. The Problem Manager Agent works beyond the immediate incident to identify and eliminate recurring causes. The SRE Agent reasons about reliability and emerging risk before failure reaches the operational queue.
They are not three versions of the same assistant. They represent different forms of operational expertise, operating with distinct responsibilities while drawing on a common intelligence foundation.
The goal is not to put an AI assistant beside every operator. It is to create a workforce of specialized digital expertise that can reason across different operational responsibilities and work together toward an outcome.
The Constraint Was Never Data. It Was Context.
Enterprise IT does not have a shortage of data. It has a shortage of context.
There are events, alarms, changes, incidents, logs, metrics, tickets, dependencies, runbooks, architectural decisions, and years of institutional knowledge. Bringing those signals together is useful. Understanding how they relate is transformative.
Droma treats operational intelligence as something closer to memory than aggregation.
It continuously builds an understanding of what happened, why it happened, what decisions were made, what actions followed, and what the outcomes were. An incident does not simply disappear when a ticket is closed. Its context becomes part of the intelligence available to the next investigation.

Autonomy Doesn't Scale on Capability. It Scales on Trust.
There is a tendency in the industry to treat autonomy as a destination — turn an agent on, give it access, and let it operate. Mission-critical IT cannot work that way.
Autonomy has to be earned through evidence. An agent can begin by assisting and summarizing, progress to investigating and correlating evidence, then recommend actions with its reasoning exposed. As confidence grows, it can take responsibility for defined, low-risk actions where policy allows it, while humans retain control over decisions that carry greater consequences.
But autonomy does not scale on capability alone. It scales on trust.
That means knowing what an agent can do, why it made a decision, what evidence informed it, and who remains accountable. Actions need to be observable and explainable. Decision boundaries need to be explicit. Confidence needs to be visible rather than assumed. High-risk actions need the appropriate level of human oversight. And meaningful decisions need an audit trail.
Governance, therefore, isn’t a layer added after the intelligence is built. It is the mechanism that allows autonomy to expand safely.
The objective isn’t to force every organization toward maximum autonomy. It is to make each next step safe, measurable, and earned.
